Letty Bennett

A native and resident of Baton Rouge, she died at 12:06 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2012 at The Carpenter House. She was 82. Visiting at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy., on Thursday, Sept. 13, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Visiting resumes Friday, Sept. 14, from 11:30 a.m. until services at the funeral home chapel at 2 p.m. conducted by Rev. Ted Roeling. Interment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Survivors include 2 sons and daughtersinlaw, Robert and Brenda Bennett, and Warren and Monica Bennett 1 sister, Nonie Hortman 2 brothers, A. Foster Sanders and wife Gladys, and Reggie and Millie Sanders 4 grandchildren, Billy Bennett and wife Theresa, Amanda Shaw, Stephanie Rabalais and husband Jeremy, and Sarah Bennett 5 great grandchildren, Sean, Blake, Caleb, McKinlee and Aaliyah. Preceded in death by her husband, William W. Bennett 2 brothers, Billy and Warren Sanders. She was a member of Church of the Way Presbyterian.
