Lois Hinds

A retired salesclerk with Montgomery Ward, she died at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2008, at Baton Rouge General Medical Center. She was 84, a resident of Baton Rouge and native of Lake City, Tenn. Visiting at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway, on Friday, Feb. 29, from 9 a.m. until service at 11 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Milford Walters. Interment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Survived by her two daughters and sons-in-law, Joyce and Michael Collignon and Sheila and Steve Boxill, all of Baton Rouge; three sons and daughters-in-law, Billy and Gail Hinds, Don and Jerri Hinds and Jon Hinds and Tammy Felder, all of Baton Rouge; niece and spouse, Diane and Alan Patterson, of Kingsport, Tenn.; eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild. Preceded in death by her parents, Ocle and Sarah Loy; brother, Ocle Loy Jr.; sister and spouse, Viva and Clarence Tidwell. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the ALS Association.
