Lori “Lolo” Thomas, beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 16, 2026, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Lori was born on June 17, 1967, in South Weymouth, Massachusetts. She brought light, creativity, and compassion into the world from the very beginning.
A devoted member of the Jefferson Ridge Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Lori lived her faith through the love and kindness she gave to others. She was very creative and found joy in all things crafting, such as crocheting, coloring, and her many works of art. She also loved spending time with her family, having a good meal, and was a very compassionate animal lover. Lori truly lived her life to the fullest.
Lori was preceded in death by her father, George J. Thomas; and nephew Brandon Nichols.
She is survived by her mother, Donna Thomas; sisters, Michele Ervin (Louis), Jessie Currey (Jimmy), and Habeeb Edwards (Jeff); brother, John Thomas (Dana); nieces, Shea Spencer (Chad), Haley Edwards, Madison Currey; nephews, Jordan Vallet and Tyler Thomas (Kaycee); and great nieces and nephews, Lanie Babin, Brant Spencer, Holly Spencer, Auria Thomas, Mason Thomas, Archer Thomas, Violet Vallet, Lailyn Jordan, and Westyn George.
Her family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to everyone in her life who knew and loved her. Her warmth, creativity, and beautiful spirit will be deeply missed, but forever remembered.
The family would like to invite all who knew and loved Lolo to join them as we commemorate her life. A Visitation will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy. in Baton Rouge, from 1:00 PM until Funeral Services at 2:00 PM.
