Lorry Heverly

A travel journalist and resident of Baton Rouge, she died at 2:30 a.m. Monday, Sept. 26, 2011, at Baton Rouge General Medical Center. She was 57 and a native of Perkaise, Pa. Memorial visitation at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway, Thursday, Sept. 29, from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. She is survived by her husband, Mark W. Krohn fatherinlaw and motherinlaw, Jerry Frank Sr. and Judith Ann Krohn three sisters, Dwinell Heverly and life partner, Wally Schultz, Heidi Gerloff and husband Fred Gerloff II, and Natasha Hartzell and husband Jeff Hartzell a brother, Luke Heverly and wife Mari two sistersinlaw, Allison Kaye Krohn and April Ann Voigtmann and husband Frerick Voitgtmann and two brothersinlaw, Paul G. Krohn and wife Mary, and Jerry F. Krohn Jr. She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Marilyn Heverly. She was a member and board member of the Society of American Travel Writers. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of choice.
