Lynn Brou

December 16, 1933 — March 4, 2022

Lynn Anthony Brou departed this life for his eternal reward on March 4, 2022.  He was a native of McCall, Louisiana and the ninth of 11 children.  Lynn was a resident of Baton Rouge and a former resident of Metairie.  He is preceded in death by his wife of 45 years, Michelle Donlin Brou; his parents Clemil Joseph Brou and Palmire Robert Brou; siblings:  Majorie Brou (Sister Margaret), Joseph (JC) Brou, Warren Brou, Sr. Marie Richard, Harold Brou, Grace Waguespack, Joan Agosta, Dale Brou, and Kenneth Brou. He is survived by one sister, Margaret Brou Pizzolato (Vince), and two sisters in law Phyllis Brou (Dale) and Marcy Brou (Kenneth) and numerous nieces and nephews.  Lynn received his bachelors degree from Springhill College in Mobile, AL and his masters degree from LSU in Baton Rouge.  As an educator Lynn taught in New Orleans and Baton Rouge.  He  worked with the Social Security Administration and served as the Director of the Southeast regional office in New Orleans.  He retired with the Department of Environmental Quality with the State of Louisiana.  Visitation at St. George Catholic Church on Saturday March 12, 2022 from 930 AM until 11 AM.  Catholic mass of burial follows starting at 11 AM with interment in St. George Catholic Church mausoleum.  In lieu of flowers, please contribute to your favorite charity.
