Mark William Woody, MD
January 3, 1952 — December 10, 2023
Mark William Woody, M.D., 71, of Baton Rouge, Louisiana and a former resident of Fort Madison, Iowa, passed away after a brief illness on December 10th, 2023 at Our Lady of the Lake Hospital in Baton Rouge.
Mark was a truly loving father and is survived by his son, William Richard Woody; William’s mother, Danica Fornea Woody; and two stepsons, Dax Christian Thomas and Darren Earl Thomas, all of Baton Rouge; brothers Craig Warren Woody of Denver, Colorado and Brad Marshall Woody of Aurora, Illinois; and nephew Samuel Allen Woody of Aurora, Illinois.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William Richard Woody and Helen Meade Woody of Fort Madison, Iowa.
Dr. Woody was a well-respected and much-admired Radiologist in Baton Rouge and the surrounding area. He took great pride in his work with his partners Charles Greeson, M.D.; Deana Jones-Braswell, M.D.; and Travis Blanchard, M.D.
He will be sadly missed by his family, friends and colleagues.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
