Mary Babin

Mary Kathleen Babin, age 68, passed away on Sunday, December 18, 2016. A lifelong resident of Baton Rouge, she was born June 20, 1948. A graduate of Glen Oaks High School, she was a Certified Tumor Registrar previously employed at Mary Bird Perkins. She enjoyed traveling, spending time at family camp in Buras, Louisiana with her husband; as well as, following and supporting her grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughter, Theresa Babin and partner Michael Guillory; son, Christopher Babin and daughter-in-law Tracy Babin; grandchildren, Alexandra Babin and Aidan Babin; sister-in-law, Karen Martin and husband Dan Martin; brother-in-law, Larry Arrowroot; nieces, Angel Dozar, Kim Amy, Laura Zeitzer, Danielle Durr, Nancy Leblanc; nephews, Donnie LeJeune, Kirk Edwards, Brandon Dozar and Brent Amy.

Kathy was preceded in by her husband, Alan S. Babin; father, Oscar Charles LeJeune; mother, Celestine Logue LeJeune; brother, Ronald LeJeune; and sister-in-law, Joan Arrowood.

Visitation will be held at Resthaven Gardens of Memory and Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy., Baton Rouge, Louisiana on Wednesday December 21, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. with memorial service to follow.
