Mary Elizabeth Vince DeMarco, cherished wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family on Monday, March 9, 2026, at the age of 78. Mary was born on November 22, 1947, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and was the beloved daughter of the late Samuel Vince Jr. and Mary Cashio Vince. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Business, paving the way for a successful career in Human Resources. A devout member of Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, Mary served as a Eucharistic Minister, and was an active participant in the ACTS Women’s Group. In her free time, Mary found joy in baking, traveling, and most importantly, spending quality moments with her family.
Mary is preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Mary Vince, and her sister, Carolyn Vince Stott.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 55 years, Tony DeMarco; her loving children, Michele Zeber (Neal), Dana Brasuell (Todd), and Vincent DeMarco (Christine); her brother Samuel Jospeh Vince; her treasured grandchildren, Madison Zeber Fletcher (Ashton), Nolan Hutchinson (Allie), Reid Brasuell, Hayden Zeber, Mia Brasuell, Roman Brasuell, Christian DeMarco, and Sophia DeMarco, along with many nieces and nephews whom she adored.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Clarity Hospice for their exceptional care and compassion during this difficult time.
We invite all who knew and loved Mary to join us as we commemorate her life. A visitation will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy, In Baton Rouge, on Thursday March 12, 2026, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM. Visiting hours will resume on Friday, March 13, 2026, at Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 15615 Jefferson Hwy, in Baton Rouge, from 10:00 AM until Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 PM. Graveside services will follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
