Mary Dianna Gaudin, born on May 22, 1950, passed away on Thursday, July 24, 2025, at the age of 75.
Mary was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She graduated from Lee High School, class of 1968. She did clerical work with Earl K. Long, and was also an office manager and computer specialist with Wildlife and Fisheries. Mary was a parishioner at St. Jude Catholic Church. She always enjoyed working with craft fairs, traveling, and Disney World. She was loyal to her family. She was fun loving in her younger years and an overcomer; overcoming many health issues in her life, never letting her health struggles stop her or let her down. From that, she was an encouragement to those around her. Throughout her life, carried about in her body, the dying of Jesus. She drank from the Chalice of Suffering of Our Lord and truly became a dear friend of Our Lord Jesus for it says: “Those who sow in tears shall reap rejoicing.” Mary was devoted to her beloved pets, Peanut the Pomeranian, and Jack and Odie the Jack Russell Terriers.
Mary is survived by her sister, Emily (Lou) Inzinna; brother, Richard Scott Gaudin, Sr. (Judy); nieces, Michelle Bull and Christy Schewe; nephew, Scott Gaudin, II; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
