Mary Lee Barker Gros

Mary Lee Barker, a native of Krotz Springs, LA and a resident of Denham Springs, LA, passed away on Monday, May 26, 2025, at the age of 57. She worked as a phlebotomist. She enjoyed traveling and taking care of her family as well as others.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leslie Herd Barker and Carmella Ann Distasio Barker; sister, Mary Alice Mires; brother, Leslie Boyd Barker; and sister-in-law, Kitty Kartchner Barker.

She is survived by her sons, Aron David Fontenot, Ty David Fontenot, and Drew David Fontenot; their father, Tuffy Fontenot; grandchildren, Chloe Ann Fontenot and Oliver Cole Fontenot; sisters, Malinda Benoit Majors, Dinah Barker Sylvester, and Machelle Benoit Kimble; brothers, Gilbert Benoit, David Benoit, and Louis Anthony Barker; and Maci and Chester, her fur babies.

A private family service will be held.
