Mary Laurent

An automotive service writer and a resident of Denham Springs, she died Wednesday, April 8, 2009, at Ochsner Medical Center-Baton Rouge. She was 68 and a native of Baton Rouge. A private family service will be held. Survived by her daughter, Anglin Laurent Doucet; son, Timothy Laurent; sister and brother-in-law, Catha G. and Rayford J. Duhe; longtime friend, Helen Underwood; and two granddaughters, Amber Lee Laurent and Dayna Michelle Laurent. Preceded in death by her mother and father, Grace Catha Gaines and Alphred A. Gaines. She was a graduate of Baton Rouge High School and attended LSU. The family would like to express their thanks to the fine medical staff at Ochsner Medical Center.
