Mary Melker

Mary Kathryn Melker born July 29, 1930 passed away at the age of 91 on Monday, February 21, 2022. She lived a long, happy and fulfilled life. She was a loving mother grandmother and great grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband Jack Melker and her daughter Kathy Bliss. She is survived by her sons Trey, Jimmy and Jack. “Nanny” will be dearly missed. She was a graduate of LSU and was a teacher for 40 years. If there is poker in Heaven she and Papaw will be at the table!! There will be a family memorial service at Resthaven at a later date.
