IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Mary Catherine
Miller
May 12, 1993 – February 3, 2026
It is with great love and sadness that we announce the passing of our beautiful daughter, Mary Catherine Miller. She passed away on February 3, 2026, at age 32. She was born May 12, 1993, in Baton Rouge, LA.
Often called “MC”, Mary Catherine touched everyone she was in contact with.
The greatest gifts she offered were her kindness, cheerfulness, and faith in God. It is comforting knowing she is at peace with Our Savior.
Her family was very important to her. Above all, Mary Catherine was loved deeply. Her generosity, warmth, and her smile would brighten a room. She will be remembered by all who knew her. Like the patron Saint Martha, Mary Catherine reminds us of the sacredness of hospitality and serving others.
She was proud of her Catholic faith, attended school at Our Lady of Mercy, St Jude the Apostle and St Joseph Academy. After graduation went to Southeastern University.
She had a passion for fashion, design, art and animals, especially her dog, Bear.
She is survived by her parents, Don and Marcie and three siblings, Shawn, Adam and Lizzie. Also survived by Lizzie’s fiancé, Brennan Miller, her fraternal grandmother, Ginger Miller, and an extended family that spans generations. All of whom will carry her memory forward with love and happiness. Preceded in death by maternal grandparents Bettie and Joe Calandro, her Aunt Pam Calandro, fraternal grandfather Don L. Miller, and her Aunt Susan Miller Smith.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 8, 2026, from 3:00-5:00 PM at Resthaven Funeral Home, located at 11817 Jefferson Hwy, Baton Rouge, LA 70816.
Visitation will continue Monday, February 9, 2026, from 9:00-10:00 AM at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church, until Mass of Christian Burial beginning at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
Honorary pallbearers are her brothers Shawn and Adam, Brennan Miller, Luke Miller, Jake Fitzgerald, David Sibley, Daniel Sibley, Jordan Kaiser, Michael Kaiser, Paul Emden, Jonathan West, Jack Jordan and Cole Jordan.
