Mary Partin

A homemaker and a resident of Baton Rouge, she died at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 7, 2008. She was 90 and a native of Centreville, Miss. Visiting at Resthaven Funeral Home on Saturday, Aug. 9, from 9 a.m. until religious service at 11 a.m. Interment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. She is survived by a daughter, Mary Iris Mitchell and husband J.M.; son, Frank L. Partin Jr. and wife Elizabeth; brother, Sam Newman and wife Dugan; 11 grandchildren, Tammy Lynn, Jean, Grady, Jennifer, Cindy, Lamar, Michael, Scott, Paul, Craig and John; 23 great-grandchildren, a niece, Elizabeth Taylor; and several nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank L. Partin Sr.; and a son, John Thomas Partin. Pallbearers will be Scott Partin, Michael Partin, Lamar Partin, Paul Mitchell, Craig Mitchell and John Mitchell. She was a longtime member of Oakcrest.
