Myrna B. Clement

Myrna B. Clement, born on September 20, 1941, passed away on Monday, August 10, 2026, at the age of 84.

Myrna was born in French Settlement, Louisiana. After graduating from high school, she spent many years creating a loving home to raise her family in. She was a member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church and St. George Catholic Church. Myrna always enjoyed cooking, baking, and sewing.

Myrna is survived by her daughters, Cynthia Marie Clement Gehling (Jim) and Donna Kay Clement Cowie; son, Robert Earl Clement, Jr. (Joyce); sisters, Wanda Gayle Bruce Painter (Gary) and Diana Marie Bruce; grandchildren, Brandi Gehling Aydell (Brian), James E. Gehling, Jr. (Kelli), Misty Gehling Banes (Andrew), Paige Courtney (Steven), Chaz A. Clement (Samantha), Alex Clement, Ava C. Clement, Shelby Danielle Aydell, Daniel Patrick Aydell, Geoffrey Paul Aydell, Matthew Phillip Aydell, Andrew Christopher Banes, Jr., Christian James Banes, April A. Romero (Jon), Braden G. Romero, Avery G. Romero, Shaianne Marie Gehling Vaughn (Dylan), Brianna Marie Gehling (Seth Blount), Chris M. Cowie, Becca L. Carrus (Jeff), Harper G. Carrus, Easton G. Carrus, and Christina Riann Fitch (Adam); great-grandchildren, Kohen Vaughn, Hayes Vaughn, Huxson Vaughn, Theodore Michael Fitch, and Jonah Matthew Fitch; and canter, Brennan Plummer.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 13 years, Robert Earl “Bobby” Clement, Sr.; parents, John Baptiste and Lillian Marie Matherne; son, Steven Wayne Clement; and brother, John Baptiste Bruce, Jr.

Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate Myrna’s life on Friday, August 14, 2026, at Resthaven Funeral Home. All will be welcomed at 9:00 AM, with a rosary beginning at 10:30 AM, and Memorial Service at 11:00 AM, officiated by Father Jason Palermo. Burial to follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
