Nancy Kaufman

Nancy Taylor Kaufman, age 74, a resident of Baton Rouge passed away on June 14, 2022.

Nancy was born in Opelousas, LA and raised in New Orleans.  She attended Riverdale High school and was a graduate of Louisiana State University. She had a passion for books and reading and continued that through management positions at Claitor’s Book Store and Books a Million.

Nancy is survived by her son John C Kaufman Jr., brother Jim Taylor and wife Linda, their children Jimmy Taylor and Ashley Lomax, and sister- in- law Linda Taylor.

She was preceded in death by father James Taylor, mother Frances Taylor, brother Hollis Taylor and son Jeffrey Kaufman.

Visiting hours will take place at Resthaven Funeral Home on July 1, 2022 from 10:30am until services at 11:00am.

In lieu of flowers please make donations to Manship Theatre in Nancy T Kaufman’s name.
