Nanette J. Hoff of Baton Rouge, died at 1:30 A.M. on Saturday, November 23, 2024 at Our Lady of the Lake Hospital surrounded by her family. She was 83 years old.
Born in York, Pennsylvania and a graduate of York High and the York Hospital School of Nursing, she was the daughter of the late Harvey R. Wagner and Catherine Morgan Wagner.
A member of First United Methodist Church, “Nan” is survived by her husband of 61 years; Ronald E. Hoff; four daughters; Tina R. Stockner (preceded in death by husband Ricky Stockner), Deborah E. Castel (husband Chris Castel), Patricia L. Poche Vaughn (husband Buddy Vaughn), Karen M. Hoff; and one son Daniel L. Hoff (wife Holly Hoff). She is also survived by her ten grandchildren and one great-grandchild; Robbie Stockner, Christopher Castel (Miranda) and their son William Castel, Nicholas Castel and Andrew Castel; Brianna Poche Vice (Jonah), and Chandler Poche; Courtney Hoff-York and Amber Hoff; and Victoria Hoff and Alexander Hoff.
She was preceded on death by two sisters and a brother: Charlotte A. Dietz, Evelyn C. Barnhart, and Murray L. Wagner.
Visitation will be on Saturday, November 30, 2024 from 9:00 A.M. until 10:00 A.M., followed by services at 10:00 A.M., at Resthaven Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to your favorite animal rescue or shelter.
