Norean Byrons Carver

Norean Carver passed away peacefully on January 30, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. Her life was a beautiful testimony of faith, devotion, and gracious hospitality.

Norean was a loving and faithful wife to her husband, Ed. Their marriage was marked by deep affection, shared ministry, and an unwavering commitment to one another. The words of Scripture says it so well: "Many waters cannot quench love; rivers cannot sweep it away" (Song of Solomon 8:7). Though Ed preceded her in death, Norean lived with the confident hope of reunion, trusting the promise that "to be away from the body is to be at home with the Lord" (2 Corinthians 5:8), and believing their time together would continue throughout eternity.

She was the proud and devoted mother of a blended family of five children, David, Janine, Kevin, Brian, and Kim, and a loving grandmother whose warmth and kindness shaped the lives of those who called her "Grandma." Her family was her joy, and her home was always open; welcoming all who entered with grace, laughter, and genuine care.

As a minister's wife, Norean understood the sacred calling of compassion and faith. While Ed served as the minister of the church, Norean was its heartbeat; quietly faithful, endlessly supportive, and deeply loved. Norean's life bore quiet witness to the promise of Proverbs 31:26: "She opens her mouth with wisdom, and the teaching of kindness is on her tongue." She never met a stranger, extending kindness freely and creating a sense of belonging wherever she went. Her life reflected the love of Christ in practical, beautiful ways.

Norean's legacy is one of grace, devotion, and steadfast faith. She leaves behind a family and a church community forever shaped by her gentle spirit and generous heart. Her life reminds us that love lived faithfully echoes far beyond this world and into eternity.
