Oliver Brannon, Iii

Casey's rough and tumble life came to an end September 20, 2017, in the Carpenter House. Born January 14, 1951 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, he grew up on Lover's Lane and graduated from Baton Rouge High School. After attending LSU, he made his way in the import and export business like other young men from his neighborhood. Generous and gregarious (though difficult), Casey never met a stranger and made an impression on everyone he encountered. Casey also loved dogs.

Preceded in death by his mother, Lenora Riffel; his father, Oliver Price Brannon II; and his sister, Caroline. Survived by two sons, Price and Kyle; sisters, Debbie and Pat; and special friends, Marta, Betty Jo, Sue Baby, and "Wag," his dog. Thanks to all that tried to care for this unique man.

Memorial visitation will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home on Thursday, September 28, 2017 from 5:00pm until 7:30pm.

May he live on in the countless stories of his outré personality. Casey always did it his way.
