Ophey Thibodeaux Sr.

A retired iron worker with Kaiser Aluminum, he died at 5:30 p.m. Sunday, May 10, 2009, at his residence in Pride. He was 93 and a native of Church Point. Visiting at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway, on Wednesday, May 13, from noon until service at 2 p.m. Interment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Survived by his wife, Emmaline Neck Thibodeaux; three daughters, four sons, three sisters, three brothers and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He loved fishing and hunting. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Alzheimer's Services of the Capital Area, 3772 North Blvd., Suite B, Baton Rouge, LA 70806.
