Otto Sandberg

A retired Chemical Engineer, a native of Odda, Norway and a resident of Zwolle, Louisiana, he passed away at 9:25am on Thursday, January 26, 2012 at Ollie Steele Burden Manor in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He is survived by his wife, Catherine Daigle Sandberg three daughters, Ellen Parr Sandberg, Suzanne Parr Sandberg and Signe Parr Sandberg one son, Lars Parr Sandberg and wife, Lynn six grandchildren three great grandchildren a sister, Signe BachGansmo and a brother, Hagbart Alstergren Sandberg. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edvin and Aagot Alstergren Sandberg former wife, Jodene Arlis Parr Sandberg a daughter, Christine Parr Sandberg and a brother, Edvin Alstergren Sandberg, M.D. He was a graduate of University of Southern California and a member of Rotary International, Paul Harris Fellowship, Sons of Norway Lodge 2001 Leif Erikson and AICHE American Institute of Chemical Engineers. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimers Association or to M.D. Anderson Cancer Research.
