Pamela Jeanne Blystad

Pamela Jeanne (Oatley) Blystad passed away on March 15, 2026, at the age of 78.

Born in Oakland, California, on June 27, 1947, Pam was the daughter of Frank and Edna Oatley. She was the second of four siblings. She was preceded in death by her sister, Sheron (Oatley) Wright, and is survived by her brother and his wife, David and Cindy Oatley; and sister and her husband, Marsha and John Low. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren, nieces, and nephew, Christine, Doug, Nicholas, Elliot, Frank, Shannon, Jennifer, Matt, Gina, Andi, Alexandra, Chase, Tin, and Nick.

Pam worked for more than 20 years for the City of Baton Rouge. After retiring, Pam settled into a quieter life enjoying gardening, reading, daily walks, and spoiling her grandchildren. She loved to watch baseball and travel to different baseball stadiums. She will be greatly missed.
