Pam A. Montgomery

Pam Ann Weidner Montgomery, 66, of Hammond, Louisiana, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 14, 2026, surrounded by family. She was born on May 6, 1960, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, cherished daughter of the late Jennie and John Weidner. Throughout her life, Pam was known for her nurturing side especially with her babies, her strength, humor, and unique personality. She has touched the lives of many.

Pam is survived by her beloved husband of 44 years, Rodney Montgomery; her daughters, Jeannelle Thomas and Katherine Cuti; her grandchildren, Devin Doerfler, Cheyenne Meche, Aleah New, Luke Thomas, Karson Sibley, Izzie Thomas, Abbie Thomas, Jaxon Sibley, and Emma Cuti; her great-grandchildren, Sarah Doerfler, Chance New, Caylee Meche, Colten New, and Avamae New; and many other cherished family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John Weidner and Jennie Krause Weidner; her grandparents, Mary and Alvin Krause; and her Aunt Jessie, and Uncle Joe Alello.

The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to PAM Health Specialty Hospital of Hammond for their care, compassion, and support during this time.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, June 22, 2026, at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway in Baton Rouge. A Visitation will be held at the funeral home beginning at 9:00 a.m. Inurnment will follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory.

Though Pam is no longer with us, her love, wisdom, and memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
