Pauline Brown Spell

Nov 18, 1931 — Jun 27, 2026

Pauline Brown Spell, 94, of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 27, 2026. She was born on November 18, 1931, in Michigan. She was the beloved daughter of Raymond and Anna Brown.

Though Pauline departed from formal schooling after the 11th grade, her wisdom and warmth left an indelible mark on all who knew her. She enjoyed a career as a school bus driver and was dearly loved by the many students whose lives she touched along the ride. The fun they had on the way to sporting events were memories they’d share for years to come.

She is survived by her beloved children, daughters Pamela Templet and Lis Morman, and son Johnny Spell. Pauline was proud to be a grandmother to twelve grandchildren: Shannon, Danielle, Toni, Kristy, Matthew, Emmett, Josie, Maggie, Jacob, and Tyler.

Pauline was preceded in death by her parents and loving husband of thirty-six years; Earl C. Spell, her dear son Richard Earl Spell, her loving sisters Raybell Mumphrey and Helen Krumholt, and her grandson Guy J. Fell, “JoJo”.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Graveside Service at 10:00 AM on Thursday, July 2, 2026, located at Resthaven Gardens of Memory, 11817 Jefferson Hwy, Baton Rouge, La.
