Pearlie Monroe

A native of Walnut, Mississippi and resident of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, died at 11:20 p.m. on Friday, August 3, 2012 at Heritage Manor. She was 91 years of age and a retired Technician Nurse. Visiting at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy., Baton Rouge, LA on Tuesday, August 7, 2012 from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Visiting resumes on Wednesday, August 8, 2012 at 8:30 a.m. until service at 10 a.m. Interment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. She is survived by her daughter, Mary M. Zwez step daughter, Hilda Cruthirds sister, Lola Jeans two brothers: Leonard Mullins and A.G. Mullins two grandchildren: Emily Zwez and Randall Zwez. Preceded in death by her husband, Marion Baker Monroe three sisters: Jewel Garrett, Earlean Russell, and Verna Jackson two brothers: Everett Mullins and Bynum Mullins a step son, David Monroe and two step daughters: Minerva Pollock and Bertha Holden. She was a member of St. Lukes Episcopal in Baton Rouge and St. Patricks Episcopal in Zachary and the Homemakers Club. Memorial donations can be made to your charity of choice.
