Randall Hunt

Randall Bruce Hunt, age 60 native and lifelong resident of Baton Rouge, passed away at his home on May 27, 2022. He graduated from Belaire High School in 1981 and went on to attend LSU where he pursued his interests in construction. Randy retired from DOW Chemical after 20 years of service and continued work in the Construction and Safety professions.

He was preceded in death by his parents Alex & Sybil Hunt as well as grandparents Claude & LaRue Aucoin and Bruce & Jewell Hunt

He will be remembered for his generosity and loving nature, big heart, and larger-than-life personality. He always had the ability to make people laugh hard and smile wide by finding the good in everything and bringing everyone along with him. He was president of the Belaire High Bass Club, played offensive tackle for the football team and loved boating and fishing in his spare time.

He leaves behind a brother Brian Hunt and wife Rhonda, a sister Dina (Hunt) Smith and husband Hal, a wife Alexa (Sibley) Hunt and daughters Adair Hunt, McCall (Hunt) Mabile and husband Justin, nephews Jacob and Seth Smith, nieces Lundyn (Hunt) Nims and Karly Hunt along with a lifetime of close friends.

Visitation will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home on Thursday, June 2, 2022 from 3:00 p.m. until Memorial Service at 6:00 p.m.
