Ray Brown

Ray Brown, a WWII Veteran, and a resident of Baton Rouge, passed away on March 31, 2016 at the age of 105.

He was a member of Oakcrest Baptist Church.

Ray is survived by his daughter, Raeletta Simmons and her husband, David; his granddaughter, Amanda Boulton and her husband Tom; his two great-grandsons, Will and Drew and his great-granddaughter, Julia.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Helen Brown; his parents, John and Gertrude Brown; his sister, Helen Rojahn; and his three brothers, Emory, Clayton, and Herbert.

Visiting hours will be observed on Tuesday, April 5, 2016, at Resthaven Gardens of Memory and Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway, from 9:00 AM until the funeral service at 11:00 AM.

Interment will take place at Port Hudson National Cemetery, 20978 Port Hickey Road, Zachary, Louisiana.
