Richard E. McCorkle

Richard E McCorkle, a native and resident of Baton Rouge, LA, passed away on September 15, 2023 at the age of 76.  He had many jobs beginning with the Frostop while he was in college, Cook on a boat, welder, mechanic for Tidewater. His last job he was a tremendous help to his wife, with her Randolph Shepard business.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Dollie Stephens; and his father, Clifford O. McCorkle, Sr.  He is survived by his wife, Shirley McCorkle; his children, Leisa Earles, Richard O. McCorkle and Christopher McCorkle; 3 grandchildren, RJ Cortez, Farren Cline, and Cory Earle; One great grandchild Abigail Cortez; sisters, Elizabeth McCorkle and Elaine Sanders; and his brothers, Clifford O McCorkle Jr, Phillip McCorkle

A Graveside Service will be held at Resthaven Gardens of Memory, 11817 Jefferson Hwy. Baton Rouge, LA 70816, on Saturday, September 30, 2023 at 10:30 a.m.

He will be greatly missed!
