Robert "Bob" Fuhrman

Robert Alvin Fuhrman, age 78, of Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Robert Alvin Fuhrman on December 24, 2024. Born in Brooklyn, New York, Bob attended Louisiana State University and continued to make Baton Rouge his home, where he became an entrepreneur and businessman. His long-standing commitment to the business community left a lasting impact, and he was known for his incredible sense of humor and encyclopedic knowledge of history.

Bob was the proud father of Trent Fuhrman of Baton Rouge and Troy Fuhrman (Catherine) of Tampa, Florida. He was also a cherished grandfather to Thomas, Jacob, and Emily. Bob took great joy in watching them grow.

Bob’s entrepreneurial spirit and dedication to his community defined his legacy. He will be remembered not only for his success in business but for the love and loyalty he showed his family and friends.

The family will receive friends on Friday, January 10, 2025, at 9:30 a.m. followed by a memorial service at 10:00 a.m. at Resthaven Gardens of Memory and Funeral Home, located at 11817 Jefferson Highway, Baton Rouge, LA 70816.
