The most important things to Robin were his family, love of his land, his enjoyment of the game of golf and his passion for being a good banker. Robin enjoyed travel and the memories made. He had a clever personality and was a man of high integrity. He always put family first and adored his wife, Sharon and the life they shared together for over 52 years. He raised his children to work hard and always do their best and was proud to watch his three daughters grow into beautiful and accomplished women.

Robin received a BS in Business from Louisiana Tech and graduated from the LSU Banking School of the South. He lettered in golf at both Centenary and Louisiana Tech, and his love of golf continued throughout his life. Robin also served his country in the U. S. Army Reserve from 1968 to 1974. Additionally, he served in several board and leadership positions with various organizations and was most proud of his association with The ARC of Caddo-Bossier, an organization that was close to his heart.

Following in his father’s footsteps, he was passionate in his livelihood and commitment to banking, and his accomplishments in banking spanned over 48 years. He began his career in 1967 with First National Bank which ultimately became J. P. Morgan Chase. He retired in 2004 as Regional Senior Credit Officer, Middle Market Southwest Region that served Arizona, Colorado, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Texas. That same year he began a new career with IberiaBank as an Executive Vice-President and Senior Credit Officer and was successful in setting up locations in Shreveport and Monroe, Louisiana and Houston, Texas. He retired from banking in 2015.

A private service will be held at St. George Catholic Church in Baton Rouge, LA and a “Celebration of Life” in Shreveport, Louisiana at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to The ARC Foundation of Caddo-Bossier, 351 Jordan Street, Shreveport, LA 71101 or St. George Catholic Church, 7808 St. George Drive, Baton Rouge, LA 70809. The family wishes to thank Toby Bradley, Channa Courtney and Zonia Dominquez for their devotion and loving care of Robin.
