A resident of St. Francisville, he died at 5 a.m. Thursday, April 15, 2010, at Lane Regional Medical Center, Zachary. He was 63. Visiting at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway, Friday, April 16, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Visiting resumes at the funeral home Saturday from 11 a.m. until religious service at 1:30 p.m., conducted by Deacon Brent Duplessis. Interment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Survived by a sister, Donna Ashford and husband Len a brother, William R. Swarmer Jr. and wife Janette and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents, William Swarmer Jr. and Venia Swarmer.
