Sally Fields Riddle, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at the age of 81.
Resident of Baton Rouge, Sally was born in Robstown, Texas, on June 29, 1944, daughter of the late Arthur Jennings and Mary Marbry Kelly. Prior to her retirement, Sally dedicated her career to the financial services, working at Telco Credit Union, and later at LA USA Credit Union.
In her free time, Sally found joy in her garden, nurturing flowers and embracing the tranquility that nature provided. A passionate bridge player, Sally enjoyed the camaraderie of friends around the card table. Above all, Sally cherished moments spent with her family, who were her greatest treasures.

She is survived by her children, Audrey Ann Thornton (Darrel) of Salado, TX, and Frederick Blaine Fields II (Beth), of Baton Rouge, LA; sisters, Patty Coggeshall, and Karen Rhew; grandchildren, Frederick Blaine Fields, III, Juliana Rojo Proctor (Logan), Elise Rojo Potts (Luke), Mary Rojo McDaniel (Matt), Joel Rojo (Gracie), Christy Hadley (Charles), Angela Sloan (Jeff), Katherine Veronica Ponthier (Steven), Lynda Gizzi (Joe), Danielle Badeaux (Brett), and Kaleigh Posey (Avery); and great-grandchildren, Noah, Bart, Charlotte, Reuben, Hadleigh (Joe), Evan, Ethan Danielle (Brett), Adalind, Harper (Avery), Isabella, Lainey, Olivia, and Samantha.
