Sally Mayer Vennard

Sally Mayer Vennard passed away on Sunday, October 22, 2023, at the age of 72.  She was born November 6, 1950, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, to Dr. and Mrs. William Ogden Vennard.  Sally was a member of the Episcopal faith and lived happily at Heritage Manor for 28 years.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her siblings, William O. Vennard Jr., and Linda Vennard Lee and her beloved pets, FiFi and Charcoal. Sally is survived by her sisters, Virginia Witherspoon, and Sandra Stroman; her cousins, Susan Hardtner, and Charles Mayer; her nieces, Tracy Hutchinson, Sheryl Jung, and Becky Overton; her nephews, Bill Lee, III, Wardlaw Witherspoon, III, and John Witherspoon; and her other nieces and nephews, Mary Kate Hutchinson, Lee Ellen Kline, Raylyn Lee, Ryn Witherspoon, Lydia Witherspoon, Maggie Witherspoon, Jackson Witherspoon, and Clyde Overton.

Sally’s family would like to give special thanks to Tommy O’Conner, and Caroline Ourso who called Sally her “little sister.”

A private graveside service will be held.
