Samuel Harris

Samuel E. "Gene" Harris, age 64, a resident of Baton Rouge, LA passed away on Thursday, July 13, 2017.

Gene was the owner of Cotton's Pest Control in Gonzales, LA.

He is survived by his ex-wife, Kim C. Harris; son, Logan Harris; step-daughter, Crystal Palermo; brother, A.R. Harris Jr.; sister, Amy Harris Varnado and husband Darryl; step-mother, Katy Harris; nephews, Ty Harris and wife Jennifer and Adam Harris; nieces, Mary-Hannah Varnado and Scotlyn Varnado; great nephew, Tyler Harris; and great niece, Jordan Harris.

Gene is preceded in death by his parents, A.R. "Cotton" Harris, Sr. and Sara Harris; and his niece, Gina Alise Harris.

Visitation will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy, Baton Rouge, LA on Monday, July 17, 2017 from 9:00am until funeral service at 1:00pm. Burial will follow in Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
