A resident and native of Baton Rouge, he died Tuesday, July 29, 2008, after a brief battle with lung cancer. He was 47. Visiting at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway, on Friday, Aug. 1, from 4 p.m. until service at 6:30 p.m., conducted by the Rev. Collin Wimberly. Private interment at a later date. Survived by his wife, Beth G. Vicaro; father, Samuel Vicaro Sr. and wife Betty W.; mother, Sally Hathcox Smith; stepmother, Linda B. Vicaro; daughter, Samantha Vicaro and her brother, Austin Andrews; two sisters, Pamela Vicaro Yancey and husband Chris, and Michele Vicaro; two brothers, Jody Vicaro and wife Marie, and Rocky McCloud; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Vince Sr. and Bertha Vicaro; and an uncle, Vince Vicaro Jr.
