Shini Raphel-Joseph

Shini Elizabeth Raphel-Joseph, a native of Queens, New York and a resident of Baton Rouge, LA, passed away on Sunday, September 12, 2021 at the age of 52.

She earned her Doctorate in Nursing from Loyola University in New Orleans in 2015.

She is survived by her husband of 26 years, Joseph Francis; children, Jonathan Francis and Nathaniel Francis; parents, Prabha and Santhamma Raphel; brother, Robert Raphel and wife Sherin; and nephews and niece, Theodore and Sasha Raphel.

Visitation will be held at Christ the King Catholic Church on Wednesday, September 15, 2021, from 1:00 p.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 2:00 p.m.  Interment will follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
