Sidney Goodspeed

Mr. Sidney Doras Goodspeed, 89, of Franklin, Tenn., and formerly of Baton Rouge, passed away Friday, Sept. 16, 2011. He served in the U.S. Navy, was a Mason and a lab technician with Exxon. Visiting at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway, on Wednesday, Sept. 21, from 10 a.m. until service at 2 p.m., conducted by the Rev. George Berger and the Rev. Steve Berger. Interment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Preceded in death by his wife, Jessie Lee Herring Goodspeed. Survived by his daughters and sonsinlaw, Phyllis and Howard Mixon, of Barrington, N.H., and Marcia and Dave Asch, of Franklin grandchildren, Darryl McCreary, Duane Mixon, Graeme Asch and Travis Mixon and 10 greatgrandchildren.
