Sita Iyer, a retiree from the state of Louisiana, Division of Administration, passed away Sunday, Oct. 10, 2010, at her home in Baton Rouge. Sita was 59, a native of Bombay, India, and a resident of Baton Rouge for 39 years. Survived by her husband of 39 years, Sam Sundareswaran Iyer, an Albemarle retiree. Also survived by her mother, Meenaskshi and brothers, Kannan and Raju, all in Bombay daughter and soninlaw, Sarita and Darren Evans grandson Vikram granddaughter, Meena son and daughterinlaw, Suresh Iyer and Ramya. Visitation at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway, Wednesday, Oct. 13, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. followed by Hindu religious service and cremation.
