Stana Savatovic

Stana Savatovic, age 74, passed away at Baton Rouge General on Friday, June 27, 2025.

She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and cherished friend. Stana found joy in the simple pleasures of life—gardening, mowing the lawn, and spending time poolside with her great-grandchildren. She took great pride in her perfectly manicured yard, not just for its beauty, but as a safe haven for her beloved puppy, Coopy. After the passing of her husband of 51 years, Cooper became her constant companion and comfort.

Her smile and laugh were contagious, and her vibrant spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her daughter, Jasmina Boric; her son, Jovica Savatovic, and his wife Ivanka; and three grandchildren: Suzana Durbic and her husband Dario, Sladjana Boric, and Bojan Savatovic. She also leaves behind three beloved great-grandchildren: McKenzie Lenard, Lucca Durbic, and Leo Durbic.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Milka and Ilija Kolundzija.

A graveside service will be held at Resthaven Gardens of Memory, 11817 Jefferson Hwy, Baton Rouge, LA 70816, on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, at 2:30 p.m.
