Stephen Perkins

Stephen Anthony Perkins, born on February 24, 1960 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, passed away on March 21, 2023, at the age of 63. Stephen was a beloved son, brother, uncle, and great-uncle. Stephen is survived by his mother, Mona Perkins, and three sisters, Cindi (George) Nohra, Sheri (Denis) Bourgeois, and Becky (Randy) Young. He was an uncle of six nieces and nephews and great-uncle of eight. He was preceded in death by his cherished father and best friend, Vernon “Perk” Perkins. Stephen graduated from Arlington Preparatory Academy and participated for many years in the local Special Olympics. He loved LSU Sports, High School football, and all past and present pets. Stephen was a prankster and loved his family with all that he was. Family and friends are invited to attend visitation at 10:00 am followed by mass at 11:00 am, at Most Blessed Sacrament Church, 15615 Jefferson Highway, Baton Rouge, La. 70817 on Saturday, March 25, 2023.
