Stephen “Craig” Trammell passed away on Monday, April 28, 2025, at the age of 65. Craig was born to Leslie and Patricia Trammell on November 28, 1959, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
Craig worked at Hebert Brothers Engineers and Global Contractors for many years as an Equipment Supervisor. He especially loved fishing, hunting, and cooking for his family.
He is survived by his wife, Sue Trammell; mother, Patricia G. Trammell-Heller (Richard Heller); daughters, Stephanie McLin (Devin) and Sally Ball (Corey); son, Stephen A. Trammell (Kaylin); brothers, Rodney M. Trammell (Gayle) and Jeffery S. Trammell (Anna); grandchildren, Gavin Trammell, Tristan Trammell, Alexandra McLin, Camille Trammell, and Luke Ball; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Leslie B. Trammell.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 2, 2025, at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway in Baton Rouge. Visitation will be held at the Funeral Home on Thursday, May 1, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Friday, May 2, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Dr. Andrew McWhorter, Dr. Bryan Bienvenu and staff, all nurses in the infusion room at Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center.
