Susan Johnson

Susan passed away Sept 12, 2016. She was a native of Russellville, Alabama, long time resident of Denham Springs and recent resident, fulfilling her dream of beach life, in Foley, AL. She was retired from P.I.E. Nationwide and a retired Senior Director with Mary Kay Cosmetics where she was awarded 5 cars during her successful career. She was a graduate of Istrouma High School.

Survived by her loving husband of 35 years, Jim "JJ" Johnson. Daughter Troy Chaney Hayes; Sister, Kandi Boothe Prejean; Stepsons, Stephen and wife Betty Ann, Jason and wife Tina; Grandchildren, Masha, Misha, Dustin and Blayne; Nieces, Marcy Prejean Maurer and husband Tom, Julie Prejean Byrd and husband Brian; Nephew Ty Bettison and wife Laura; Grand nieces and nephews, Jackson, Caroline, Carson, Benjamin, James, Anna Katherine, Alexander, Kaleb, Micah, and Kate; and her beloved Corgis, Gigi and Lucy.

Preceded in death by her parents, Roberta Carter Fricks and husband John, and CJ Boothe and wife Teresa, Son in law, Mike Hayes and nephew, Trey Bettison. Her family and friends meant the world to her and she meant the world to them!

Memorial services will be held Saturday, September 24 from 9-12 at Resthaven Gardens of Memory and Funeral Home.
