Tammi Reno Bourque

Tammi Reno Bourque passed away on January 3, 2026, at age 66. She was born on December 1, 1959, in Baton Rouge, LA, to Victor and Dorothy Reno.

Tammi was a proud LSU Tiger through and through, never missing a chance to cheer on her team and share her infectious excitement on game day. Her love for LSU was only rivaled by her love for people—she was charismatic, talkative, and effortlessly welcoming, able to turn strangers into friends with just a few words and a genuine smile.

Her greatest joy, however, was being a devoted and loving grandmother. She cherished her grandchildren deeply and took immense pride in each of them. Time spent with them—laughing, talking, and making memories—was what she treasured most, and her love for them knew no bounds.

A passionate dog lover, she found comfort and happiness in the companionship of her four-legged friends, Bella and Sophie.

Tammi is preceded in death by her parents, Victor and Dorothy Reno; and her brothers, V.J. and Jimmy Reno.

Tammi is survived by her loving husband of 35 years, Bruce Bourque; her daughter, Kalli Holston (Matthew Holston); son, Joshua Fontenot; grandchildren, Baylee Fontenot, Brennan Fontenot, Cayden Holston, and Kinsley Holston.

Above all, she will be remembered for her big heart, vibrant spirit, and unwavering love for her family. Her laughter, warmth, and zest for life leave a lasting imprint on all who knew her.

Services will be held on Thursday, January 8, 2026, at St. John the Evangelist, located at 15208 LA-73, Prairieville, LA 70769. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm, followed by a Funeral Mass at 2:00 pm. Burial will follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory, 11817 Jefferson Hwy, Baton Rouge, LA 70816.
