Tammy Guidry Ray

Tammy Guidry Ray passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 12, 2026, at the age of 62. She was a beloved wife, daughter, sister, aunt, godmother, and a blessing to all who knew her.

Tammy loved boating, vacationing at the beach, and spending lots of time outdoors and with family and friends. She will be remembered for her strength, kindness, and loving spirit.

Tammy is survived by her mother, Sherry Guidry; sister, Lisa Guidry; brother-in-law, EJ Major; nieces, Brandi Webre (Shawn), Casie Babin (John), and Megan Sullivan; nephews, Brandon Major (Erica) and, godchild, Cody Major (Hannah); as well as great-nieces, Baylee Mativi (Evan), Presley Nijoka, godchild, Caleigh Sullivan, Ivy Rookard, and Mia and Lennon Major; great-nephews, Calem Guidry, Dayton and Brixton Babin, Ty Webre, and Myles and Briar Major; and great-great-niece, Weslie Mativi.

She is preceded in death and united in heaven with her husband, Otis “Buck” Ray; father, Benton Guidry; brother, David Guidry; sister, Sandra Major; and nephew, Michael Bourgeois.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Resthaven Funeral Home, located at 11817 Jefferson Hwy, Baton Rouge, LA, with Funeral Services beginning at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park, located at 9595 Florida Blvd, Baton Rouge, LA.

Honoring Tammy as pallbearers are EJ Major, Brandon Major, Cody Major, Shawn Webre, Evan Mativi, and Daniel Rumfola.
