Taylor Brian

A senior at Denham Springs High School and a resident of Denham Springs, she joined our Heavenly Father at 4:54 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 5, 2009, at Baton Rouge General Medical Center-Bluebonnet. She was 19, born in Baton Rouge on Jan. 30, 1990. Taylor lived to laugh and loved to sing. Visiting at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway, on Tuesday, Sept. 8, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Visiting resumes at the funeral home on Wednesday from 9 a.m. until service at 11 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Orville Rogers. Survived by her parents, Wayne and Ruthie Brian; two sisters, Mindy and husband Israel Miranda, and Lindsey Brian; a niece, Tori A. Miranda; grandparents, James P. and Brenda J. Brian, and Betty Root; uncles, James A. Brian, Kelly Root and Terry Root; aunts, Lynn Brian, Missy Root and Stacy Root; cousins, Katie Root, Sean Root, Maddie Root, Emilee, Elizabeth and Aaron Root, Trevor Brian and Travis Brian. Preceded in death by grandfather, Donald E. Root. She will be greatly missed by all who were ever warmed by her courageous smile.
