Terry John Honore, Sr. passed away peacefully at the age of 60 years old on Friday, May 13,2016, at 5:00AM. He was born June 8, 1955, in New Orleans, Louisiana. He was a resident of Baton Rouge, LA, where he owned and operated Terry Honore Construction Company.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, cooking, growing a big vegetable garden and most of all, spending time with his family.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 43 years, Donna Leblanc Honore; two sons and daughter in law, TJ and Ashleigh and Kelvin; two grandchildren, Jonathan and Lauren: three sisters, Jeanette King (Cranston), Grace Honore and Carolyn Boyd (Charles); and one brother David Honore (Shannon). As well as two godchildren, Tori Jones and Keysha Gause.
He is preceded in death by parents, Edward and Carrean Honore; and brother, Edward Honore, Jr.
The family would like to thank Dr. Chris McCandless, Stewart Sommers, Sister Dulce, and the staff at The Carpenter House for their compassionate care.
Visitation will be Tuesday May 17, 2016, at 9:00am at Resthaven Gardens of Memory and Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy, Baton Rouge, LA. Recitation of the rosary will begin at 10:30am with Services and Burial immediately following.
