Theresa J. Perry

Theresa J. Perry, 66, passed away on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Theresa was born on March 10, 1959, in Tyler, Texas, to Claude “Smokey” and Maggie Agnew. Theresa was a proud graduate of Whitehouse High School and built a successful career as a sales consultant, where her dedication and professionalism were not only recognized, but respected by her peers and clients alike.

Outside of her professional life, Theresa enjoyed cooking, golfing, fishing, and watching football. Vacations to the beach were a particular highlight, where she was able to spend time with friends and family. She was also a devoted parishioner of St. Jean Vianney Catholic Church. Those who knew her often described her as the life of the party - a radiant personality, forming deep and meaningful connections with many friends over her lifetime.

Theresa is survived by her husband of 7 years, Berton “Joey” Perry; daughters, Traci Moore, Mackensi Hill, Dana Mcormick, and Monica Perry; sons, Landon Adcock, Rod Turman Jr., and Andrew Berton; grandchildren, Kylie Kornegay, Reveille Neighbors, Conner Moore, Sydney Turman, Bentley Turman, Lincoln Turman, Jase McCubbins, Gracelynn Adcock, Easton Adcock, Kaden Schmidt Adcock, Alyanah Johnson, Micah Danova, and Dakotah Perry. As well as her great-grandchildren, Dalton Kornegay, and soon-to-be Colter Kornegay.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Claude “Smokey” Agnew and Maggie Agnew.

Visitation will be on Sunday, August 10, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Resthaven Funeral Home, located at 11817 Jefferson Hwy, Baton Rouge, LA 70816. Funeral services will begin at 12:00 PM.
