Toni Allen Sardisco

September 11, 1937 — January 9, 2026

Toni Jane Allen Sardisco, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away on Friday, January 9, 2026, at the age of 88. She lived a life rooted in faith, family, and love. Born in Detroit, Alabama, Toni later moved to New Orleans, Louisiana, where she attended Warren Easton High School and graduated in 1954.

In 1956, Toni met the love of her life, John, at Christ the King Church at LSU. Their bond grew into a lifelong partnership marked by devotion and shared purpose. Toni went on to graduate from Louisiana State University with a Bachelor of Science in Education. She and John were married in Shreveport in 1959, where they made their home for 24 years and welcomed their son, John Samuel, in 1961.

Toni and John later moved to The Woodlands, Texas, where they spent 21 years building a wonderful chapter of life together. In 2005, they relocated to Baton Rouge to be closer to family after the heartbreaking loss of their son, John Samuel.

Toni was a faithful parishioner of St. George Catholic Church and a proud member of the Country Club of Louisiana. She was an avid bridge player who enjoyed the friendship, challenge, and joy the game brought her. But above all, Toni’s greatest love was her family. She was at her happiest surrounded by the people she cherished—especially her great-grandchildren, whom she adored. She loved spending time laughing, playing, and making memories with them, and her warmth will be felt in every story shared and every life she touched.

Toni was preceded in death by her parents, Tony and Laura Allen; son, John Samuel Sardisco; and brother, Robert Michael Allen “Mike”.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 66 years, John Baptist Sardisco; daughter-in-law, Ann Sardisco; grandchildren, Lauren Naquin (Alex), and Joshua Sardisco; great-grandchildren, Sophia and Brady Naquin; sister-in-law Mary Ann Allen; and numerous beloved nieces and nephews.

The family would like to invite all who knew and loved Toni to join them as we commemorate her life. A visitation will be held at St. George Catholic Church, 7808 St. George Dr., in Baton Rouge, on Thursday, January 15, 2026, from 9:30 AM until Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM, with graveside services to follow.

Her family will remember her for her steady love, her grace, her faith, and the joy she brought into every room. Toni’s legacy lives on through the generations she loved so deeply.
