Trong Van Tran

Gioan Baotixita, Trong Van Tran, of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, passed away on July 7, 2026, at the age of 96. Trong was born on a Tuesday, on December 31, 1929, in Cam Ranh Vietnam, son of the late Thoc Van Tran and Banh Thi Dang. He is survived by his five beloved children; Kiem Tran, Kieu Tran, Hoa Tran (Tai Nguyen), Hiep Tran, and My Bui (Tu Tran); and six cherished grandchildren, Jimmy Bui, Jack Tran, Jason Tran, Joe Tran, Tylia Nguyen, and Tyler Nguyen.

Friends and family are invited to a prayer service at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway in Baton Rouge. Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
