Veronica "Roni" Watts Welsh

Veronica Ann Watts Mauffray Welsh (Roni), a resident of St. Francisville, LA, passed away peacefully at her home on March 9, 2023. Roni was 76.

Roni was a native of Baker, LA, and during her younger years attended regional Catholic schools. Roni earned her Registered Nurse status after receiving her Associate Degree in Nursing from OLOL School of Nursing. She further received a certification in psychiatry nursing, maintaining that status for 28 years.

Roni is survived by her husband, James H. (Jim) Welsh, her son, Johnny Watts Mauffray, her daughter, Kristin Callihan Weber, 5 grandchildren, and two brothers, Wendell Gerard Watts, and Michael David Watts. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ivy Wendell Watts and Julia Engels Watts.
